Maricopa County Judge recuses himself from the Arizona Election Ballot audit case

The Maricopa County Judge, Christopher Coury, rescued himself from the Democrats case, filed to stop the Arizona 2020 Election Ballot audit. Christopher Viskovic, the attorney hired by the auditors, previously worked as an intern with Judge Coury. Therefore he was forced to resign from the case.

Before rescuing himself from the case on Sunday, Judge Coury heard the case on Friday and ordered to halt the audit until Monday if Democrats would pay $1 million to stop the recount. When the latter denied, he directed to continue the audit.

This is not the first suit filed by the Maricopa County Board of Superiors to stop the audit.
