Perhaps your local "crazy conspiracy theorist" friend was recently talking about the US Military beginning to stage in cities around the US. You may have even seen an increase in the number of Military Jets, transports, helicopters and convoys in your area. The media "fact checkers" were quick to step in and tell us "no the military is not moving into the streets of cities around the US" - that alone should make you think just a bit.
