China probed triggering Coronaviruses as bioweapon years before the pandemic came into existence

In a shocking revelation of documents written by Chinese scientists and health officials in 2015, the SARS Coronaviruses would pave the way for a “new era of genetic weapons” that could further be “artificially manipulated into an emerging human disease virus, then weaponized and unleashed.” According to documents obtained by the US State Department, the paper entitled ‘The Unnatural Origin of SARS and New Species of Man-Made Viruses as Genetic Bioweapons’ predicted fighting World War III with biological weapons.

According to the documents, the Chinese military scientists discussed the COVID-19 virus five years before it even existed. Coronaviruses are a family of viruses that cause respiratory diseases ranging from a common cold to severe respiratory infections. These leaked documents reveal China’s plan of turning odds into favor with these deadly viruses as they might cause the “enemy’s medical system to collapse.”

The Executive Director of Australian Strategic Policy Institute, Peter Jennings, labeled this document as a “smoking gun” because “it clearly shows that Chinese scientists were thinking about military application for different strains of coronavirus and thinking about how it could be deployed.” Jennings further added a “possibility that what we have here is the accidental release of a pathogen for military use.”

Doesn’t this explain why China was reluctant to permit external investigations regarding the origin of COVID-19?

A translation of the document from Chinese to English by Dr. Li Meng Yan brought forth that, “developments in other scientific fields, there have been major advances in the delivery of biological agents. For example, the new-found ability to freeze-dry micro-organisms has made it possible to store biological agents and aerosolized them during attacks.”

The documents also comprise specific references from the work of a US Air Force colonel, Michael J. Ainscough, who once predicted World War III through bioweapons. According to The Australian, this document enlists China’s top public health officials and 18 other authors, out of which ten authors are well-known scientists and weapon experts from the Air Force Medical University of Xi’an.

The Australian asked Robert Potter to verify the sanctity of these Chinese government documents, who later revealed that these documents are not fake. “We reached a high confidence conclusion that it was genuine ... It's not fake, but it's up to someone else to interpret how serious it is.” Robert Potter, an ally of the Australian and Canadian governments, clarified that they “were able to locate its genesis on the Chinese internet.”

The first COVID-19 case came to light in the Chinese city of Wuhan in late 2019, and Potter stated that it was “not unusual to see Chinese research papers discussing areas that they’re behind on and need to progress in.” Since its outbreak, John Hopkins University reported that the world had witnessed over 157 million COVID-19 cases and close to 3.28 million deaths.

Questions remain unanswered about the origin of this deadly virus as the World Health Organization ordered a much-derided probe to check on factors of a possible laboratory leak. Several scientists rule out the possibility of COVID-19 being a human-made virus. But we are yet to find out if this virus escaped from a secretive bio lab in Wuhan - the place of origin of the virus.

Amidst the accusations, the Beijing-run Global Times newspaper slammed The Australian for “twisting the book's contents to support its own conspiracy theory that China was engaged in weaponizing the novel coronavirus several years before the pandemic.” Authors Liu Caiyu and Lou Kang further added a statement from Chen Hong, a professor, and director of the Australian Studies Center at East China Normal University, that this report “deliberately and malignantly intends to invent pretexts to smear China.”

Brazil’s President Jair Bolsonaro also suggested that China could have developed the deadly virus in laboratory conditions triggering its spread as a “biological weapon” for economic gains. This accusation seems true because China declared a GDP increase of 2.3% in 2020 while the rest of the world struggled with a steep decline in their economy. According to The Republic World, “China’s economy has the potential to surpass the United States as the world’s top economy in 2026, which is two years before then what was anticipated.”

While we are not yet aware of the origin of the virus - whether it escaped from Chinese laboratories or it jumped from wild animals onto humans, one thing is pretty sure that these documents have put China’s transparency under stringent scrutiny.
