A reporter made Mike Lindellâs angry Saturday at a Conservative Political Action Committee event in Orlando, Fla.
The MyPillow CEO became upset after CBS reporter Robert Costa asked him questions Lindell apparently did not like.
Costa questioned him about a Washington Post photo that showed papers he was holding en route to a January 2021 White House meeting.
Close-ups showed the partially visible notes appeared to mention âmartial law if necessaryâ and the 1806 Insurrection Act. Another line seen in the photographed notes mentions moving Kash Patel from his job as chief of staff at the Department of Defense to become the acting head of the Central Intelligence Agency in the days left before President-elect Joe Bidenâs inauguration.
After the meeting with former President Donald Trump, the pillow magnate explained to both the âNew York Timesâ and âWashington Examinerâ the notes were not his. He reportedly said he was delivering a message from an attorney whom Lindell did not identify.

âWho gave you those papers?â Robert Costa asked Lindell Saturday..
âWho gave me those papers?â asked Lindell. âItâs none of your business.â He hotly informed the reporter a bunch of lawyers gave him the papers, which he claimed he never read. âI went in there with evidence on January 15th. You guys are all [the same]. You regurgitate; you all do it.â
Lindell said he brought four papers to his his meeting with the former president he said demonstrated Dominion and what he called their election crime with their machines. The CEO added that China conducted a cyberattack of all 50 states, affecting more than 12 million votes. Lindell concluded by insisting Donald Trump actually won the 2020 general election by 82 million to 68 million votes.
Costa repeated his question about who gave him the papers and the MyPillow CEO told Costa he had just told him. âWhy donât you go back and watch your own rotten news,â roared Lindell. âYou guys are the worst journalists.â
âYou journalists are traitors,â he yelled. âTraitor! Traitor! Traitor! CBS Robert Costa is a traitor to the United States of America.â
When Costa persisted with questioning Lindell, the CEO replied it was old news and pivoted by questioning the reporter. He asked why he was protecting a company called Dominion and attacking a company called MyPillow. He expressed disgust with Costa and CBS, calling them one step above Fox News, whom he alleged did not talk at all.
âAre you a Communist?â Lindell demanded of Costa and again called him a traitor. He got the crowd to join a chant of âTraitor! Traitor!â
Costa denied Lindellâs claim and repeatedly asked him why he wouldnât answer the question.
