In 2018 Avenatti represented Stormy Daniels a the now-debunked sexual harassment lawsuit against President Donald J. Trump. Daniels was in fact ordered to pay reparations to Trump for the false accusations. He appeared on CNN 54 times in 10 days, guest-hosted The View and was hailed by the left as a possible heir apparent to the Presidency.
