How does a senator making $160,000 a year afford a $41 million vacation home?

So, your business is set to bloom if your wife is a public servant?

Well, it seems to be the case with 88-year-old Democrat Senator Dianne Feinstein and her third husband, Richard Blum.

With an annual income of $160,000, she listed her Lake Tahoe, California estate for $41 million.

The New York Post reported:

The property is listed under the LLC, Lucky Bluff, which is tied to Blum’s investment management firm, Blum Capital, according to Realtor.

The main house is cabin-style inspired and was built in 1997. It holds six bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms, offering an open living/dining/kitchen and family room. Outdoor features include an expansive deck, hot tub and stairs down to the pier and beach.

It boasts 278 feet of beach views, along with a 172-foot pier with a boat lift and two buoys.

Other features include a two-car garage and Tesla charger.

As a matter of fact, her husband, whom she married in 1980, had certain financial interests in China, which ballooned after she got elected to the Senate in 1992. Does this infer that she hired a Chinese spy to help her husband’s business flourish at an exponential rate?
