Oscars hit a new low

The unprecedented pandemic has severely affected Hollywood, and now its effects were also seen on the Oscars. Its viewership dropped by 58.3% from last year, as only 9.85 million viewers tuned in to watch its low-key version this time. Its third host-less show recorded the smallest viewership tally so far and the lowest rating of 1.9 among adults (18-49) in the fast national ratings.
