The important lesson is obviously the lies and manipulation of long established truths in order to placate the American People. But the even more important lesson is that they have been doing this for YEARS. Inflation is prime example. The “calculation” was changed years ago to eliminate certain inputs and thus make inflation always appear lower than it actually is. This is why you have likely heard some (real) economics say that whatever number is reported as CPI, is realistically low by 2-4%. Because, live everything else coordinated by the Government and their media partners, it’s a manipulated half-truth.
